Anybody here open to Tarot cards? by EnzoMatrix2007-07-03 01:29:06
Not me. by Khaar 2007-07-03 01:41:50
There are many things that happen to a person each day, most of them so mundane that they are forgotten. However, the ones that have some associations to something else, especially an unexpected one, stand out pretty much by default. Any form of fortune telling is vague enough that when something happens to match as much as one of the predictions, the mind will put that event before others. And as I said, there are many things that happen to a person in a day, and odds are that one of them will match some vague prediction, making it appear true.

At least that's my opinion. But if it makes people happy, I won't convince people against fortune telling as long as it doesn't become harmful in any way.
