don't mind me, but be prepared, I am extremely direct and to the point. it's just my style, I'm not trying to insult anyone!
There's some really bad ideas there, but a couple good choices.
Why get a SLI mobo if you aren't getting two cards right off? it's quite....stupid of a move, costs you more and by the time you end up upgrading to SLI you find that a single new card is a much better price/performance upgrade not to mention power use.
Don't waste money on GeIL, go for kingston... their ram is the most reliable stuff you can get, lifetime warranty (and they DO mean it, I just RMA'd a PC100 stick of ram from years back), and even low-end ram (high latency) only downs system speed by about 2%.
AWESOME HDD choice. I have the 'cuda 7200/10 320GB sata2, and the thing is a beast for speed. it breaks and keeps 80MB/s sustained transfer on the first ~1/4 of the drive... for the price you can't beat the performance/capacity combo!
Ick... why get a cheapo 10/100 card? the mobos come with half decent GbE ones, and if you want a better one look up the intel pro/1000GT... worth the extra few bucks.
The rest of your stuff looks decent to me. |
