If you like the girl, go for it. Let no-one stand in your way. If they stand in your way knock them down. Timidity has never served anyone, male or female. You are the dominant species on this planet so show it!

Anyone gets between me an my girls, someone is getting exterminated. It won't be me.

Do what you need to do and make this girl love you. It shouldn't be that hard: my girl decided to love me based on the fact that I knew how fast continents moved. You just need to know what she likes. You are smart enough to find out the details of her personal likes.
