Coming up with possible solutions, giving examples from their own lives. Now, if they suggested things that you found unsuitable well, how could they know? If they got annoyed because you rejected every solution, well that's frustration speaking.

Tact? I don't see very many comments (if any) on there insulting you. Pushing buttons, calling out destructive behaviours, perhaps. Telling you bluntly what they think, oh there's plenty of that.

Sympathy? Hey, they're trying to help! Is that not sympathetic?

Listening? You dismiss every option and they come up with more, how is that listening.

Let's be honest here (and this is the exact place where YOU are going to allow yourself to feel slighted and insulted), people on here are CONSTANTLY trying to help, you keep lashing out. We are bloody well getting frustrated at your attitude. You whine and complain, we give solutions which you dismiss out of hand and THEN you whine and complain about our trying to help!

If I didn't have a thicker skin I'd feel insulted, but I won't allow YOU to make ME feel insulted.

You're kinda like a fragile balloon on a stucco wall, the slightest bump makes you explode. We ARE trying to help, we CARE about you. Frankly if we didn't we wouldn't be frustrated with you. If we didn't care we wouldn't respond.

Stop pushing away the very people who are trying to help you! Take their suggestions and consider them. If you deem a list of suggestions as not matching your criteria then perhaps you've not communicated what you want correctly, or perhaps you need to look inside of yourself to see if what you said you want is in fact the truth.
