jogging shoes. No, they don't cost 100USD+ because it's Nike or adidas or Puma. they cost that much, because they are orthopedic in nature: Support your ankle while running, provide suspension against the shock of running, and make sure that you can retain a constant grip without slipping.
And if you ask a doc, he'll tell you that jogging isn't good for you at your weight.
The argument "too expensive" or "too boring" aren't valid. The money you sped on Pump It Up can be converted into a ticket to swim (or even hit the beach, you are in Florida. Can't be longer than an hour driving).
The point is, you don't want to loose weight. If you'd want to loose weight, you wouldn't care about being the only one whitout a gazillion girls hanging off various limbs. You'd go there, and pull it through because it is good for you.
Instead, once you hit a problem, you go into cocooning mode. Same as with the Mall, or nearly any other advice that was given to you. You even shoot down the advice in nasty ways, managing to alienate posters, where I'd never thought that possible. You are hiding and running away from your problems. And if you don't wake up and smell the coffee, you'll end up where you probably see yourself already: Forgotten, and nobody drinking in your memory.
And if you can only reply in a similar way as to subbywan, safe the effort for an exercise. |
