He is a LARGE guy. I've already guided him through a couple false starts on diet. A lot of us tend to yo-yo on diet/exercise habits. Subby has to lose as much as I WEIGH to get back to normal weight...I've figured I won't be able to hold him to real progress/routine unless I manage to move closer by.
But you know what? Subby also has charm and grace and courtesy. I've seen him charm quite a few ladies. Hopefully once he has a less-than-workaholic schedule he'll be able to nab himself a good one.
Your attitude about this all REEKS. Why are you really trying to lose weight? It sounds like it's so you can attract a woman, rather than your own well-being first. If that's true, then you'll have to take a much longer term view on your weight loss...and you're going to need an even more radical change in attitude/personality. And by getting the sort of degree you did, there's evidence you can stick by something hard if *you* want to, and *you* deem it important.
The cute guys may walk off with the girls at the arcade, but the jerky ones don't keep them for long. Even if you had the body of a Greek god, I'd peg you in this group, from what I've seen. You ooze negativity in your posts and no girl of any intelligence or interest is going to stand for that...no matter what size she is. And I'll assume you mean what you say in that you're looking for real love and a relationship, not just an easy lay.
If Pump it Up is fun, keep doing it. Learn to ignore the teenagers for now. You need to get your HEAD in order, as well as your body in order. And the two concepts are complementary.
And lest you say "like I can talk," no, I don't necessarily go for looks. I think there's others here who can vouch for that. |
