Then you're not committed to losing weight by subbywan 2007-07-01 19:51:49
You want the easy option. You want the "This is fun, so I can keep on doing it, and lose weight at the same time". That's a fair sentiment.

However, it's inconsistent with your other complaints about wanting to lose weight. If you're serious about losing weight, you'll do what's *necessary* to lose it, including what's boring and annoying, and not just what's fun and entertaining.

What you want is to lose weight without effort, and that won't happen. Not in your current condition. You passed that point about 50-100 lbs ago. You're now in the "You're going to have to work hard, and get pretty uncomfortable" stage.

This choice, like all of them, is yours. You can choose to or not. You can make excuses why you can't, or you can actually do it.

*anyone* can walk, or do crunches, or other singular activities. There's utterly no excuse other than "I don't want to".

It all depends on whether you're serious about weight loss, or looking for a 'gimme'.
