Ok, now I am really mad (ok, really p4 off) by stinky_monkey 2007-07-01 19:47:09
I went to a new lake to go fishing today. It is near a "wealthy" area and I had to put up with the fun boats for a while. I caught a few nice sunnies, but not enough to justify bringing home to clean them. I went to go get my trailer and load my boat up and I noticed that the tailight and one of the bunks were shattered, I was a bit upset. Then I had trouble loading my boat up and realised that my trailer was bent. Fortunately someone helped me lift the boat to get it loaded as best as we could. When I got home and looked closer, after I had calmed down a bit, and found that the hitch of the trailer was about even with the left tire. THREE FEET out of wack! The trailer is toast and it is not safe to tow anymore.

The a3hat that hit it didn't even bother to leave a note. I take pleasure in knowing that they must have seriouslu jacked up their boat and/or truck to do that much damage. Fortunately, my truck was not damaged in any sort. I guess no boat fishing for me until I get a new trailer. Hopefully I can get one for under $100 USD. SWMBO is about to birth our spawn in a few weeks and I guess I wouln't be out fishing for a while anyways, but I am still torqued off.

It was not anything special, but it was MINE! My first boat and I have only had it a couple months. It was a rather cheap trailer that made ugly look good, but I take personal insult that someone was so much of an a3hole that they felt they could damage someone elses property and just leave. And I find it highly unlikely that nobody saw anything. I hope they rot (and have an expensive repair to their boat/truck). I'm going to have a beer and brandy now, anyone want to join in?
