friends don't let friends install Windows ME. If you haven't experienced that OS, count your blessings. It's the worst version of Windows ever to have graced/violated many people's computer. (including mine, so I speak from experience) For me it was an (in)compatibility nightmare. If it weren't drivers not functioning, it were applications and games not running. Really, you don't want to try Windows ME. (the letters in Dutch stand for 'Meer Ellende')
