is it likley that the php parser is trying to resolve all includes in the context of "A"? in that case, "C" may be trying to resolve to a file in the parent directory of "A"... "A": includes "B" "A+B": ok, now include "../C.php" relative to the working dir (of "A")... oops! BOOM just a thought, probably incorrect :-)
