Stupid installers. by Phoon 2007-07-01 01:40:39
Don't offer me a choice if I don't actually get to choose!

I'm installing Visual Studio 6.0 (long story)... as the installation ends (and as I start installing the latest JDK), it asks me if I want to restart Windows. I say no. It then complains that the installation didn't finish successfully... and says it's restarting the machine anyway!

Did they not notice the stupidity? Maybe they didn't realize that people might want to install multiple things, then restart the machine once?
