ls? (SLLR!)
Or more specific; a GPSlim240?
Well, actually, it only has to be one of their Bluetooth models that allso support the RS232 protocol, but only has a mini USB connector used for charging..
According to the manual and description, it is "Easily integratable with car navigation, marine navigation,
fleet management, AVL, personal navigation, tracking systems, and other cartographic services."
There are even schematics in the manual that shows the pinout of the miniUSB connector.. (That is NOT USB compliant!!!)
So, I've soldered together a cable that has the standard 9 pin RS 232 d-sub in one end, and a mini USB on the other end.
How ever, when I plug it in the GPS and the computer, the GPS changes "language"..
Instead of giving me NMEA scentences, it gives me complete rubbish!
Any clues, ideas or hints?
