...but only because it's free. As long as you only get antivirus, and NOT one of the integrated (do everything) suites, both McAfee and Norton seem to be fine, but I don't see that they're any better at detection or more on-the-ball with new viruses than AVG. If you get something like McAfee Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks, you're just asking for your PC to run like it's about 100 times more feeble than it is.
