Dos Games project. by FNORDer2007-06-17 09:43:41
I've been trying to http and been getting by skern 2007-06-17 09:58:19
a Forbidden error, same as everyone else. So I tried command line FTP, but I'm failing at the logon to

shadowsystems.laurencemartin.org

There's a real good chance that I need a refresher in FTP, but trying to login as anonymous logged me out instantly. Using skern as a user name took me to a password prompt, and of course I don't know what password to use, assuming that skern has even been granted privileges.

I only have this problem when I try to download the .rar files; everything else I've pulled down successfully. Took me a while to catch up since I first had to clean 18 GB off my laptop before I had space for the download. It's time for me to rebuild my main machine, but I have 400 gigs to sort through first, trying to save what is of value.

Or I could just buy/build another computer. Someday soon...
