People buying their first computers picking either Vista or Ubuntu at random. Or picking Ubuntu because it's cheaper and then wondering where the Start menu is. Or why it doesn't automagically play DVDs and insisting the techs help them type each and every letter into the command line to enable DVD/MP3 support. Or why Windows programs and video codecs won't install (people would call Apple tech support asking that even before the Intel switch.).
