    I had the impression that most collectors by hadji 2007-06-17 01:25:26
like to show off their collection in some manner or other, at some point or other. If you have something that you keep locked in a vault, never to see the light of day, what's the point of having it? That takes all the fun out of it.

I find it highly likely that it would, at some point, even if only for a brief period, end up on loan to a museum, used in a documentary, photographed and catalogued in a book somewhere, or something like that. And in each case a credit would be given to the owner, and possibly some monetary compensation.
