...but that wouldn't be the first time. Somehow I don't get the humor in the first part where the Dell techs would be "shrieking in agony". Granted, Linux is not Windows, so someone with a heavy Windows tech support background is going to have to relearn things. I think that sort of thing would be for the better, actually.

The failures of Windows is exactly why I have left the platform behind. And while I use Ubuntu, I'm still on Edgy because it suits my needs. I'm not aware of any major issues with Feisty yet, so that may also be a factor in the possible issue if there are any. I'm not sure, because when I was using Windows, the only time I upgraded systems was long after the next version was released (I went from 98 to 2k about three years after XP came out, and then went from 2k to XP at the urging of an ex-gf).
