Or at least the desire to have more money. Without it how do you promote innovation and invention.

While I will agree many inventions have been created by guys who just had a good idea the greater majority were from someone who wanted to be able to do something quicker and easier then charge people a little less then the guy down the street.

Money = Competition = Innovation = Invention

If you remove the money it will be replaced with something else. Power Goods etc etc. Human being have needed to exchange resources since the invention of society. And since that time members of society have always used the availablity of those resources to climb above others.

If you want to change politicians then the only effective way is to change the people who vote. As long as people ignore the passing of money from companies they do not trust then politicians will continue to use those companies to climb.

As long as you vote for the guy who brings money to your neighborhood with little pork barrel additions to important legislation they will use that to buy your votes.

They do what they do because people will always look shortterm and for their own interest.

Good luck changing it.
