GAH! New-addiction moral-quagmire!! by shadowsystems 2007-06-12 22:07:51
Found a new (to me) online game & have realized it may make Desktop TD look like chump change in the addiction-potential department.
It's a MMORPG that does NOT take a boatload of bandwidth, is effectively text-based (it does have pictures, but AFAICT they're all static), and it's *free*.
They reward you for suckering in your friends... errrr, "recruiting new members" by giving you more points (which you use to buy in-game items like armor, weapons, scrolls, etc).
You gain points just for being logged in, more points for battling other players, and points for recruiting, so I wouldn't be TOO worried about not getting more for suckering the lot o' you in with me... =)P

My "moral quagmire" is that, if I posted the link, I'd want to do so with my ID in the link (so I make a bazillion points) but that's a shameful ploy.
If I post it withOUT my link, then I may STILL get most of you addicted, I just won't benefit from it directly...
(Except for having more people to squish under my mighty Orcish fists of DOOOOOM!)

What to do... What to doooOOOOOOoooo....
