since I can't rant about what I really want to, since it would reveal too much about a project I am working on, I will instead substitute the following rant:
Why do you have to ask for ketchup when you order fries to go? This is America. People eat fries with ketchup. I realize there are other alternatives in other countries, but for crying out loud, nobody eats them plain. Has there been a secret ketchup famine that the fast food industry doesn't want us to know about? Are the stores being rationed as to the number of packets they can hand out?
It should be a no-brainer, even for the no-brainers that work in fast food resturaunts.
