...my unlimited text message plan was $4.95/month. I like using text messages. They work very well when you are in an environment where you can't hear (bar or sporting event) or can't talk (meeting or movie). It also doesn't have the urgency of a call. A text message usually means "get back to me whenever" or "I just wanted to let you know something but don't want to bug you."
