To be more productive at work? I think there is only one way: Build yourself a goal. A goal that you want to achieve (and not a goal that somebody else has set for you) Example: I always wanted to be self-employed. I cannot afford this right now, but I started to build a small business in my free time one year ago. The difference in enthusiasm between my regular job and the work I put in my small business is enormous. And when my business is growing and making profit (what I hope and I'm convinced that it will do) then perhaps in the near future I can quit my boring job here. I don't know what your goals, wishes or ideals are. But it is extremely important that you get aware of them. Then make a written-down plan (very important!) how to achieve these. And then just do it, don't listen to any people who tend to tell you immediately ten reasons why it won't work.
