which makes 3.6V - 4V, then feed both the uC and the LEDs from it. That also gives you a bit more headroom for the uC supply voltage. The downside is of course that the uC will use more power a 4V than at 2.4V, so the whole is a bit less power-efficient. On the other hand, multiple step-ups or all kinds of buffering incur losses too.

Judging from the specs, at 3.6V you should be able to run the green and blue part without series resistor right through the uC, red will need one however.
