Driving LEDs (Attn: Electronics Geeks) by MrTrick 2007-06-03 19:31:26
I've got a plan, but not enough analogue knowhow to implement it. I want to build a night-light with a pic12F uC (specs), and an RGB LED (specs), powered by 2 rechargeable AA batteries. The 2.4 V from the batteries is enough to run the uC, but not enough to run the LEDs.

This page has a fairly simple circuit to step up the voltage to drive 1 LED. How would I instead run a trio of them? The uC needs to be able to control the LEDs individually.

  I think I'd opt for 1 bigger step-up converter by ttlogic2007-06-03 23:18:04
