Some people weren't cut out for college. My half-brother, for instance, is one of the most intelligent people I've met (most of the intelligence seems to be inherited through Mom's side) but due to a learning disability he had a difficult time with school. But, he can do things under a car's hood that I can only begin to comprehend, and he's much better at wiring a house than I am (and I was an electrical engineering major for almost a year). If she wants to go to college, stand behind her, but don't force her if she doesn't want to go. (Vocational schools are a great alternative for people who don't feel as though they'll succeed in college.)
