A computer is brought in for service. by jiteo 2007-06-03 15:46:58
The customer, having build it himself, is complaining that the processor gets too hot. 80°C for a Core 2 is, in fact, way too hot. After much mucking about, it is decided to remove the (aftermarket) heatsink.

It is then discovered that the customer didn't peel off the protective plastic from he base of the heatsink before installing it.
