Chows by com_net ver.2 2007-06-03 11:21:27
I found out something interesting. Apparently dogs like the Chow were used as food sources during scarce times in China. I don't remember the name of the book, but it said that these dogs were refered to as "meal dogs". According to the book the Chow's name is also chinese slang (chou) for editable. This begs the question, if the dogs show catgorize dogs by their overall purpose (working group, toy group, etc.) would they have to create a "food group"? "I'd like honey mustard on mine."
