If such was the case, nobody would be building turbines, and such information would have gotten out long ago. And there's a reason turbines aren't put up in hurricane zones.

Current wind turbine technology is constantly advancing, and even if some of these problems have been issues in the past, they are being fixed and accommodated for now.
