probably some prime numbers encoded somehow, maybe a prime number of prime numbers. Then wait for a reply. Unfortunatly the should be no landing until there is some sort of protocol for contact established between the expidition and the planet. First contact has happened lots of times in our history, we could look to our history for guidance...and I come to the conclusion that if we aren't armed we shouldn't land.
