At least not for me it isn't. As I said, I've come closer to being convinced through rational discourse than through this stuff. This just reeks of "let's all pat ourselves on the back for being so repsonsible and selfrelient and whatnot and nevermind the fact that we are driving those who would oppose us further away, they're just stupid liberals anyway". I've seen it used numerous times as an argument here that guns don't turn people into murderous monsters, but then somehow on the other end of the scale it's supposed to turn them into responsible citizens?
