usually occurs because a patient misjudged their situation (condition more serious than thought) OR there's an emergency we have to see. Our doctor chooses to give the patients the time needed rather than cut them off after their "alloted" time and make them return a second time. I'm lucky. Both doctors' offices I frequent have their scheduling down pretty well, so long waits don't happen.
