Police rescue a woman held hostage	by DesertRat66	2007-05-18 13:42:23
for nearly 24 hours by a [criminal] who had holed up in his home after shooting a policeman dead and wounding his own son, daughter and another police officer. Typical day in the "awash with guns United States?" Guess again. Moral of the story: Criminals will always be able to get guns, why should the law abiding be denied adequate tools to protect themselves?
