Question for Christians by Allandaros2007-05-18 11:58:33
It was through the suffering and death by basher202007-05-18 12:01:50
    Exactly by MatthewDBA 2007-05-18 12:14:03
A lot of people think that the main point of Jesus was his life: all the cures, exorcisms, miracles, and good sense teaching. But that's not actually the case. The main point of Jesus was in fact his death, the death that showed the depth of God's love for us, and the resurrection that showed that God is stronger than death. In that light, it makes sense for us to revere the cross (or the crucifix - the cross with the figure of Jesus on it) as a powerful symbol of love.
