I have no problem with helping people with housing and the like as long as they are working. One the requirements to get any form of welfare should be at least a part time job. If I am paying you should not get to sit around and stare at the tube all day. I am also a big believer in tort reform. You should only be able to sue for tangible damages. The civil justice system was meant to mediate disputes, not to punish. If there is justification to punish it should be a criminal matter.
