The old liberal government, used to issue "Stripper Visas" which considered exotic dancing, a special category, and could skip you ahead of the line.
There was a scandal and it came to the forefront when a campaign worker for an MP was helped to get one of these stripper visas.
Since then the issue has largely died down, but the conservatives are hoping to win a majority government, and now they are trotting this back out, and saying "Look how much moral we are, we protect woman", without looking at the entire problem. |
