Don't go overboard with them. clicky We have a 1-hour IT staff meeting (8 people) every week, which I think is about right. Anything more would get in the way of things. And I haven't seen a self/peer - evaluation form yet, that I have felt comfortable filling out, so if I had to write some I would keep them short and simple. One important thing is that the people know the should and can come to you with problems, not bitch about them behind your back.
