Commercials usually have no effect on me - I rarely even know what they're advertising - but some just seem to fit precisely into the nooks and crannies of my brain.

For example:
- a recent Lotto 6/49 commercial - no point in describing it, you have to have seen it - for those who have, it's the 'Cool!' one where the roommate proposes a road trip.
- a Molson Golden commercial from the early 80's I think - bunch of women around the pool watching a guy do a really good dive. Oooh. Ahhh. Tubby McHawaiianShirt with the Molsen Golden in hand... "You think that's smooth (I think that was the word)... watch this" and proceeds to run across the surface of the pool

But the one that I won't forget unless Alzheimer's gets to me before the Reaper... a Levis commercial from the mid to late 70's I think:

"I've got a pair of Levis
They've really been around
I've taken them camping and I've laid them on the ground
They've been with me to parties
and they've climbed up a tree
why, they've been to school so often they're nearly smart as me
So after years and years of wearing
my Levis in and out
I couldn't help but notice that the knee wore out
so I sewed on a patch
a flower here and there
and they looked so good again I could take 'em anywhere
Now I'm using them as cutoffs and I'm flying through the air
Now I really think it's time that I got another pair.

You can live in Levis"

Still stuck in my brain after almost 30 years. Ack! Anybody else have any of these mindworms???
