Doesn't CPU core frequency still = FSB times multi by theanomaly2007-05-09 17:23:57
Here is how. by lheggland2007-05-09 18:26:06
Good point, but I have a question then. by theanomaly2007-05-09 18:40:51
The processor will run at any speed by lheggland2007-05-09 18:50:41
Well, the way I was looking at it, by theanomaly 2007-05-09 18:58:29
I would wind up with a 1.4GHz cpu instead of the rated, cause of the diff in FSB. But if it still runs at 1.8GHz despite the limited FSB, I'll get the system. This is going to be a HTPC / virtual machine mule to replace an Athlon 2600+. Cooler, quieter, faster are the main goals. Doing it on a budget is up there too.

Makes sense tho, fastest fsb and lower cpu. So long as a single core of this will run high-def vid without any difficulties, and it doesn't sound like a jet-liner, I'm happy.

          1860MHz/266 = 7x multi. (x200=1.4GHz) by Menetlaus2007-05-09 19:48:12
