Doesn't CPU core frequency still = FSB times multi by theanomaly2007-05-09 17:23:57
  Here is how. by lheggland 2007-05-09 18:26:06
800MHz FSB == 200MHz Clock (BLCK [1:0]) x 4
1.8GHz Core == 200MHz Clock (BLCK [1:0]) x 9
For a 1066MHz FSB the clock is 266MHz.

The datasheet for the processor is here.

I had to look it up, but I guessed it was something like this. No one in their right mind directly synthesizes an 800MHz or 1066 clock.

    Good point, but I have a question then. by theanomaly2007-05-09 18:40:51
      The processor will run at any speed by lheggland2007-05-09 18:50:41
        Well, the way I was looking at it, by theanomaly2007-05-09 18:58:29
          1860MHz/266 = 7x multi. (x200=1.4GHz) by Menetlaus2007-05-09 19:48:12
