Meaning that you eat meat rarely, but when the social occasion calls for it (e.g. someone cooked for you, forgetting that you're vegetarian) you'll eat it, without feeling guilty. Basic tenet: there's nothing wrong with eating meat --- but it's even better to do it rarely.
