before he lost his mind :P

We are just concerned that some of these letters aren't legit PAC groups, and are just scammers hitting on seniors for money (and if they get a check from him it's got his bank acct number and routing info! Gah!). And we've figured he's paid into charities quite enough for his lifetime and he can use that 350/month he's sending out now for increased care.

F'rinstance, we usually catch him with 4+ pairs of underpants on, and recently he's been calling me in the middle of the night asking about meetings that we're supposed to be at (at 3 AM!) for committees "to help the President" figure out stuff, or that they've moved his room to an identical room while he was sleeping.

I've at least gotten him to agree to look out the window and if it's dark out, NOT to call me.

And the nurses at the assisted living called me last week about his personal hygiene habits :-/
