No more advanced public screenings in Canada by shminux2007-05-09 13:14:13
  WTF?!? by Menetlaus 2007-05-09 14:52:50
People don't understand the significance of the problem. It's not ... walking in and lifting two DVDs from a Rogers rental store. When you're lifting a movie, you're now making it available to six billion people around the world," Jacobs said, adding that poor camcorder copies are usually upgraded through computer technology and resold as higher-quality DVDs

Skimming over the fact that now everyone in the world has access to all the necessary equipment to download or watch pirated moves...

Who has this computer technology to upgrade the quality of a cam to that of a DVD?

As a side note: I saw a different article on this earlier today and it said the critics screenings and ___ would not be affected - only the public advance screenings were being stopped.
