Good technology because I work, in part, with VOIP systems, and when set up correctly, they have all kinds of lovely shiny's that make them wonderful. Why Vonage is bad, because while the phone system is self is fairly good, their service, and esp customer service sucks tremendously. I've heard nothing but horrid things about people trying to deal with their service depts to cancel service, get refunds for busted service, or trying to migrate billing addresses, etc.
