Convulsive coughing by Illiad2007-05-09 13:49:03
There are several minerals and suppliments that by Classic_Jon 2007-05-09 14:12:05
are good for that.

Zinc - helps your white blood cells fight
Echenacia - immune system booster
Goldenseal - immune system booster
Selenium - will help dry up your sinuses
B-complexes - all of the b-vitamins will help your body fight off infections and give you energy
Vitamin-C - antioxidant, to carry away all the bad stuff.

If you can find them at the local health food store some places carry Zinc lozenges with Honey added to them and the Zinc on your throat will help it out TREMENDOUSLY! If you can't find zinc lozenges and you can stand the taste, you can disolve a zinc vitamin in your mouth...but it will taste nasty in most cases.

For a sinus infection I swear by a Colloidal silver nasal spray my parents sell. I have not gone to the doctor for a sinus infection in about 7 years because of it. If I start getting an infection, about 3 days of twice a day spraying usually knocks it out.

There is also a liquid multivitamin called Miracle 2000 that has 120 different things in it that works like a champ. I double up on the dose when I am feeling Bleh and it usually helps.
