| Convulsive coughing |

| I have a really bad cold. I don't seem to get any other kind. :-/
Aside from sinus pain and congestion, I have one of those coughs that just explode out of you with no warning. It's low down in the throat, and when I cough it's phlegmy and very scratchy, painful scratchy. No cough suppressant under the sun seems to affect it. Buckley's gives me about 2 mins of peace. Fisherman's Friends give me about 5 mins.
Any Very Strong home remedies? I'm not kidding when I say that this is a really bad cold. Mild remedies are a waste of time. I'm considering the boiled-ginger and brown sugar remedy, with five times the usual ginger. |
