I enjoyed putting the warnings into the manual by voxwoman 2007-05-09 13:19:54
for the Dangerous Piece of Test Equipment I was documenting. I especially enjoyed the "Caution: LASER!" warnings (cool graphics with that).

There was some hint of excitement working with equipment that could poke your eye out or sever a digit if not configured correctly (oh, and it also could heat up to 3000 degrees, if you wanted it to).

this was a materials testing equipment company - one tester was used to install a sample, heat it up, and then stress it by pulling, twisting or bending. Another took a viscous sample and measured it's birefringence while being compressed and twisted (that one had the laser in it)
