Installing a new motherboard by madjo 2007-05-09 13:12:21
Why do the newer ATX boards have two ATX plugs? 1 of 20 and 1 of 4.
What is that swall block for?

I just bought a new setup (AMD Athlon 64 X2 on an Asrock AM2NF3 motherboard, and an XFX GForce 3600 videocard), but apparently my PSU doesn't have all the necessary plugs.

After plugging everything that I can in, I power it up, and everything seems to work... At least the fans start spinning etc. But nothing after that. No video, the hard drives don't do anything. Could that be, because I don't have that small 12V 4 point block plugged in?
