Can someone smack the body shop for me? by imrambi 2007-05-09 09:15:56
So I take my truck in to get the front bumper fix. They state "If you get it in early Friday, we will have it for you Monday." Monday they call stating that they need more parts and it should be ready Tuesday (today) afternoon.

Now I just called the shop and they state that they don't have the parts yet and it might not be till tomorrow that I get my truck back.

I can understand one extra day, but when you state that it will be ready tomorrow, and I don't have a vehicle because you have it, I have to rent one. So I take your word and rent it for one day. Now you are saying that I have to rent the vehicle for another day?

All I have to say is that the cost better not be more than 10% more than the estimate. If it is, you will not have a happy camper since you have not told me the extra cost.
