but a relatively recent look at media bias by Slate also found a slight but consistant left bias. They looked only at stories which purported to be 'news', not editorials.

They found that even on the 'Drudge Report' if you looked only at 'news' articles and not his editorials, there was a bias toward the position taken by the Democratic Party on party line issues.
