When I saw the reference to "early" model Trophys and then realized it was a reference to recent years I almost laughed.

Reason is this. I've been helping my father find a part for his Triumph Trophy TR5 (also known as a Trophy 500). It's a 1952 Trophy hardtail and he's missing the generator after it flew off on the highway...:)
